look at the news today and you’ll see how violence and killing is so prevalent in the world today. everyone is loving to hate. what i cannot fathom is that it is just as easy to love as it is to hate, but you get so much more with love than hatred so why do people do it then? is it hatred? is it jealousy? is it disillusion?

as a child, my parents always taught me that there is only one caste, the caste of humanity; there is only one religion, the religion of Love; there is only language, the language of the heart; and there is only one God. for example, it has always fascinated me how islam and christianity are so similar yet muslims and christians bear such an intense and deep-seated hatred for each other. my parents taught me to look beyond differences, because deep down, we are one and the same. i have met so many people who could not have come from a more different background but with whom i can share my heart with. all it takes is a simple change in perspective but what will it take before the world comes to realise this?
